This horse needs your help

My name is Fancy and I am 18 months old. I was rescued by SAPD and Brighter Days on July 6, 2004. My leg is hurt real bad and I am going to need surgery to walk better. I have been this way for about 6 months and can't hardly use it this way. The doctor says that he will have to break my leg and reset it, then put a cast on. I will have to be at his clinic for a few days. Could you help me? If you would like to help Fancy, please send any donation to: Brighter Days Horse Refuge, 682 Krause Road, Pipe Creek, TX 78063 and make a notation on your check.

UPDATE:

Fancy has had her surgery and came home on August 19. She is doing well, but has a long way to go. Our vet, Dr. Rodenbeck, found that her leg was much worse than expected. He is still hopeful, but thinks that additional surgery may be necessary for her. Youth is on her side and she is being very careful in moving around. She is putting weight on it and we think that is a good sign. Only time will tell. Thanks to all of you who donated on her behalf.
